Re: SMPTE ST 2110 Support

check out the stop2110 site for a very detailed explanation of what this broadcast engineers studio went though while considering 2110. Don't know the person from the site but there are a LOT of good talking point in there.

I looked into this and can totally see where you're coming from. The ...

Re: SMPTE ST 2110 Support

Not just no... FUCK no!
Who has the infrastructure for that... no one. (I work in a few multi-million dollar broadcast studio's throughout the year and we ALL are hard passing on this one!)
There needs to be a solution out there (NDI maybe in a few years, or another SMPTE standard) but SMPTE 2110 ...

SMPTE ST 2110 Support

I am curious about just how many people, if any, would be interested in using SMPTE ST 2110 protocol for I/O on a regular basis if it was supported in Arena. The benefits of video/audio/PTP sync across a single cable is appealing to me.

My team and I are looking to do an infrastructure upgrade for ...

Alley and H.265

Hey everyone. Does Alley now support conversions from H.265?

I could be wrong, but I thought I've transcoded from H.265 to DXV with no issues over the last few months. However, today I tried to drop a few clips into alley and it will not load them.

Maybe I'm totally wrong and that feature isnt ...

Re: 3 walls linked 7' x 36' Novastar and Resolume

Hey River,

So I'm not an LED Tech that has installed/configured multiple walls in my career, but until someone else with more experience chimes in, maybe I can point you in the right direction.

I need to say this, hopefully without any salt. If your LED provider is physically assembling the wall ...

Re: Midi Note Traffic is slow/delayed

I could narrow the cause down to one layer that has mask-mode enabled (one layer or all layers below does not matter) and one clip in some layer below that. As soon as I clear the mask-layer everything settles down usually very quickly (once resolume became not responding entirely).

This is ...

Midi Note Traffic is slow/delayed

Hey Everyone, I wanted to throw this problem out there that has been reoccurring for me for the last few months to see if anyone experiences the same thing or maybe has a fix:

Technical Info:
Resolume Arena V7.17.0
Windows 11
AMD 7950X CPU
AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
64GB DDR5 RAM
APC40 MKII (Plugged ...

Re: Multichannel Audio Output planned?

+1 for this! It would be a function that I use weekly.

While we're at it, lets add more than one FFT input too ;)

Re: Crashes when firing columns

PNG and jpeg can call for trouble if they are huge resolutions.
Dual GPU setups can also have weird issues.

Do you see the crash reporter window pop up?

If so, please fill it out and send it. Don't forget to fill out your email ...

Re: 4K at 60fps

I have Resolume Arena 7.3.2 and a Blackmagic Decklink Extreme 12G card. When I select the output the 4K only goes up to 25fps. I know I can get 60fps out of the Decklink though because I was able to get that on ProPresenter on the same computer. Is this a limitation on Resolume or do I need to ...
