Re: Two separate simultaneous outputs
Assuming that my computer (a 2023 MacBook Pro with M2 Max chip) can play two completely different videos (each on its own layer?) to two different projectors via two different outputs... well... is that how this is done? In other words, can I send layer one to Projector A and layer two to Projector ...

Two separate simultaneous outputs
Newbie here. Is it possible to output to two different projectors (each with their own different content) from just one copy of Resolume on one computer? (I'd like to do a multi-screen show but would prefer not to have to buy a second computer to run a second screen).

Re: Crossfade without slider possible?
Well, what I was hoping for was the ability to crossfade from a video in one column to a video IN THE NEXT COLUMN. And to set a default crossfade time. And not have to use layers at all.

Crossfade without slider possible?
is there a way to tell Resolume to crossfade between columned video clips instead of always doing a hard cut? Yes, I suppose I could use the fader and put the videos on alternate layers and use the slider... but that would require dexterity and perfect timing. I'd rather just hit the next video and ...

Pressing one button lights up another
I recently bought an Akai APC40 MKII. It has a matrix of 8 buttons across, 5 buttons down. After I midi map my videos to those buttons, some of the buttons in the top row do not trigger the videos assigned to them. Instead, a few of those top row buttons trigger (and light up the button of) videos ...

Can a PC open a Mac Resolume doc?
I use the Mac version of Resolume Avenue. And I bought a Resolume dongle, which I have yet to transfer the license to. In case I get hit by a bus... and need somebody else to grab my dongle (as it were) and take over... I'm thinking I should maybe format a hard drive as ExFAT and place all the media ...

Re: APC40 MKII - no button lights
It turned out to be the 'master' fader on the APC40 turned down to about 30%. TOLD YOU I WAS A NEWBIE!!!
My next conundrum: trying to figure out why on the APC40 the currently playing video clip is pink... but sometimes not. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what color the lit ...

Re: APC40 MKII - no button lights
I did all combinations of midi prefs... nothing worked. So I did it again and now it does. Very weird.
Okay... next problem:
NOW, my composition window has a checkerboard pattern. You can faintly/darkly see the video. It's as if the opacity slider is in the wrong position or the blend mode is off ...

APC40 MKII - no button lights
My new APC40's buttons do not light up. I was able to map the 8 across 5 down grid of buttons to videos in Resolume by selecting 'edit MIDI' from the Shortcuts menu. I've selected the 'APC 40 MK II' as my controller using its default settings. And I've mapped the APC40 buttons to my grid of video ...

Elgato Stream Deck +
I'm new to Resolume Avenue. I was at a theatre & using an Akai APC Mini MKII to trigger videos from my laptop onto their screen. When I complained about the Akai's buttons not having any iconography to show their purpose... one of their techs mentioned the Elgato Stream Deck XL, and said that ...
