I ended up setting a mask made with the Shaper tool as the top layer. It was a little counterintuitive, but it did the trick. Thank you!

Is there a way to create circular slices in advanced output that don't distort videos? I have done some googling, and there seems to have been an option to add a crop layer in an older version of Resolume (circa 2012). I assume this has since been removed because I can't see it in the software ...
