Re: Unique Shortcuts per composition
Thank you. When I save a composition, I don't see a path to a file I can backup. Where do I find the composition file itself?

Re: Unique Shortcuts per composition
I worked on it and I think I answered my own question.
The solution was to start fresh by making a composition with all shortcuts (1QAZ,2WSX etc) and use that as a template for all my pages within the composition. I just have to get used to the fact that there will be blank columns in my pages ...

Unique Shortcuts per composition
I hit a problem and need help. I am setting up 2 resolume compositions (1 per set) for 2 sets of live performance. Each composition has about 23 videos (for 23 songs). 46 songs total in 2 sets that play out in a specific order as a show.

Re: Performance question H264 vs DXV for 5-10min HD videos
So it sounds like given that my videos are intended to play forward at normal speed (full screen HD, no alpha, no layering) and that these videos are 4-8 minutes each, there isn't really any performance advantage to moving from H.264 to DXV for my particular use case. Is that the general consensus?

Re: Performance question H264 vs DXV for 5-10min HD videos
The drummer uses a click track to stay synced.
So our videos will always be forward play, and no scrubbing or manipulation of playback speed. We start the videos on the first downbeat of each song.

Performance question H264 vs DXV for 5-10min HD videos
I recently started using Resolume to play HD videos behind our band during live performances. The first show went well. The videos are 4-8 min HD videos and vary in filesize from 500MB-1GB. A show involves about 30 songs. At this point I have been using H.264 videos. Since then I have been made ...

Is there a max file size per composition?
I have a composition I'm using for displaying video behind a band at a live performance. I have a composition that contains 17 HD videos that are each 500MB - 1GB (most are 500MB). That composition is performing well. It was requested I add 1 larger video that is 14 minute video ~3GB. When I added ...

How to create a keyboard shortcut to fade to black in Avenue
I am using Avenue. I would like to create a keyboard shortcut that will fade whatever is playing right now to black. Is that possible?
If this is not possible .... I only use one column at a time. Is there a way to set a keyboard shortcut to "fade this column to black"?
My goal is to fade to black ...
