I have a bug which keeps occuring but is not constant, so not easy to replicate:

Ok, thanks a lot. I will do that.

In the mean time I found a fix by midi mapping the "go back to automation" button and sending a midi note via AIC driver back into ableton where it happens. Luckily the bug is really consistent and it always happens at the same place.

Hey I've got the same issue right now. The session even loses the automation everytime i stop transport and jump to another song with a different bpm. I always have to click the automation button to get it back, which is not so practical while on stage.

Did you guys find a solution to this?
