Re: A Basic is missing
@edwin:
I had to changed/update the source-path of the video-files.
I think a regular path dialog would work, such as one find in everything from TextEditor to Maya... can't you compile Avenue with a OS standard path-dailouge?
And to really make my day, could you get a little star (*) or symbol ...

A Basic is missing
There are one thing getting om my nerves, as I involve resolume into largre projects.
Its the kind of feature so basic, that you start wonder if you excluded it on purpose. Maybe I could get an explaination?
Why is there no path-dialog when you want to save/"save as" your project file?
In order ...

Re: Macbook Pro4,1 and SSD
Good. Thanks for clairyfing.
So, let me reformulate my initial question:
Is the MacBookPro4,1 compatible with these highspeed SSD disks?
For example, does the MBP 4,1 have an eSata port to connect external SSD disks?

Re: Macbook Pro4,1 and SSD
I'm using the standard 5400 RPM.
Hm, so it means that upgrading my RAM would increase the framerate?
With the present setup I'm barely able to play one 720p layer. and then with a flickerin between 18 - 30 fps.
I use long clips though, up to 4 min premixed material.

Macbook Pro4,1 and SSD
I want to start playing in 720p, up to 4 layers. I'm no hardware guru, so please help me out :)
I'm using a Macbook Pro4,1, with 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, and 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.
Now, I'm being told that the real bottleneck is the Harddrive.
So, would it be possible to upgrade to a SSD disk ...

Re: Tons of Requests.
You can relink your files by opening the composition file in a text editor and "search and replace" the new path of your video files.

FreeFrame - Plugins
Wei!
I was wondering if there is something like a Noise (Grain) - FreeFrame plugin?
I'm also looking for a basic transformation node, with x,y,z - anchor, position, scale and rotation...
Both basic, but very usefull plugins...

Flimmer
Hi,
I'm having a latency issue when i play clips containing only a fading color (Like a color beat / strobe), the artifact looks like slight flimmer, the kind of artifact you get if you play a badly supported videocodec or a uncompressed file on a slow system.
The file is about 2,5 MB, 25fps ...
