This package looks interesting. However as a long time user of Resolume 2.x, I have collected hundreds of FreeFrame effects (and spent $100's). Some of these effects form the real core of my live motion graphics style and I have developed a special touch using them with my content collection.

Re: using jpg's (images)
As a visual artist what I found exceptional about Resolume 2.x was the ability to create mixes in real time on many different levels including clip triggering, compositing, effects layering and motion control. R3.x seems to be more skewed towards choreographing one or more of these levels and saving ...

Re: Resolume Avenue 3 is coming!
To followup my posting from August 7th:
You can also think of triggering and layering EFX as a separate mixing mode or style and I hope R3 adds some flexibility and features to what is available in R2.
One feature I have asked for in the past is the ability to add an EFX to ALL clips in a layer ...

Re: Resolume Avenue 3 is coming!
There are serveral different styles of Live Motion Graphics and one of the strengths of Resolume has been its ability to accomodate and combine mulitple styles or modes. Resolume's primary value to me as an artist is that in live performance what is produced with these modes goes far beyond what is ...

Re: Nvidia dual out - Interface appears but no Fullscreen output
I also have an Nvidia Dual Out card configured with Dual View to span monitor 1 & 2 but a different issue:
When I start Resolume 2.41the interface appears on monitor 2 but I am unable to configure fullscreen on monitor 1 (or the reverse) from within Resolume.

Auto-triggering of Gobal EFXs!!!
I can't quite believe it myself but here is what happens intermittently:
I have a Yamaha RM1X connected via MIDI cable to an Evolution UC-33 which is connected via USB 2.0 to my WinXP computer. About 120 EFX are mapped to the RM1Xs keys.
1) After setting up I can load EFX into global EFX slots by ...

I am a bit surprised and disappointed about the DMX feature, mostly because I am afraid the quality, consistency and depth of the video mixing capabilities of Resolume may be diluted. Lighting control seems to be going in an entirely different direction and on n a practical level, the environments ...

ok I got it, thanks
I needed to set the Midi Output in MCC and voila!
What's very nice about this configuration is I can use my UC-33 controler and then override the controllers I have running in MCC but still use the UC-33 for the other controllers.
Now what would be really nice is a beat measuring utility so I can ...
