i want just to put the time and date over all the videos ! so people can see what time is it.

i want to put a transparent flash animation (trigering real time) in the first layer over all the vj mix. my question is, can we lock the first layer to be unchanged so even if i drop a video in by accident, it will not affect if??

any suggestion?

i'm new in this forum, and my first question is how can we record a video and prepare it for a use in resolume?
is it just a question of format? i mean quicktime, or is there any special tips & tricks for that?
