My experience with indeo is so/so. Some clips get away with it, but others change quite dramatically in terms of colour contrast, overall sharpness, etc.

At the vjforums.com site, lots of folks recommend using some kind of mjpeg codec such as PICVideo's.

Need a new video card, mine got fried!!! What to buy?

Hi all,
It seems the video card of my PC (a generic one with some ATI chipset) is fried. I need to buy a new one, but don't know what to get. I use my machine mainly for audio work with ableton live, but I'm more and more into working with video editing for VJ purposes. Off-line editing (a la adobe ...

Exactly the same problem here. No player / editor will open the 2GB+ files created by resolume, not even virtual dub thatb is supposed to be able to do so.

Recording bug? (again)

Ok, i created my first record in resolume. Its a 5 minute long, 640x480 avi file (2.5Gb). No program will play the file, not even resolume itself!

I read on another thread something related to avi file size limit. As far as I know (after a bit of research) the size limit of avi files is 2Gb, but ...

I have a similar problem. I recorded a 5 minute long, 640x480, 2.5Gb file but no player will play it, they all fail (I tried with media player classic, winamp, realplayer). For what i read 2Gb is the size limit of avi files...What do you recommend doing?

yeah

Indeed. So, what is the workflow? I set everything at home, save the decks, and then grab a piece of paper, take notes of every effect/ setting, and then reproduce the state of resolume at the gig?

Sounds a little bit awkward, isn't it? Not to mention that you don't always have a lot of time to ...

Newbie question: how to save all decks/main effects settings?

Hi all,
Im testing resolume 2.3, and this must probably be a very dumb question, but I can't seem to find a way to save the complete config of the "set". I set up decks, load effects on the main effects strip, tweak them to taste, etc...Now, how can I save all this? I mean, I know how to save ...
