Greetings,
First thing plug your laptop output into a television. ATI sometimes has a special set of settings for the video card, usually found in the display properties menu. Set the secondary output to be the S-video instead of the secondary VGA output at about 800x600 and you should be golden ...

Greetings,
I had the same question about two months ago, and the answer was to use VirtualDub. ( http://www.virtualdub.com ) It's a bit obtuse, but works really well. You need to get your settings ready and saved in VirtualDub, then batch with DubMan http://dubman.sourceforge.net/ . As far as the ...

Greetings,
Yeah, if you're using VGA swapping out your cable every time is probably your best bet. I need to use composite video, becuase I run over long distance and it's just more manageable. The inexpensive scan converter I use acts like a monitor, so I don't need to consistantly switch cabling ...

Greetings,
I don't know if your question has been answered, but I have had good luck with cameras that use infrared light. It makes people look a little weird, but at least you can see them. ;) You can find infrared cameras all over, and there are quite a few wireless and wired models available. I ...

Greetings,
I don't know if your question has been answered yet, but if not there are quite a few products on the market. I just picked up a little thing from ADS called the VideoXpress, and that will take a composite or Svideo input and run it straight into resolume. I used it to input the output ...

Is PicVideo better than the Morgan MJPG codec? I have been noticing some performance issues with running 640x480 clips.

Greetings,
Are you running your signal through a scan converter, or is the distribution amplifier VGA?

Need to convert hundreds of clips!

Greetings,
I am an independent media producer about to use resolume for the first time. I have literally thousands of little clips I could use, but they are all DV, (720x480 NTSC) and seem to chug a bit when I try and play them back through resolume. (especially with filters)
My question is, what ...
