I'm currently in same boat. I'm sick of windows, I duel booted at first but windows ended up going funny (suprise suprise!!!) so i just scrapped that and went full on with ubuntu. Reminds me of the old dos days :) And it was so easy to get rid of windows without effecting Ubuntu a child could do it ...

Firewire is loads better than USB in every respect imo

I went with e-sata and 2x500GB WD RE2 HDD's. Had ti use a e-sata adaptor can be a apin as it is easy to knock out

sorry, i did have a few drinks then and trolling the net wasnt that feasible in my state haha. Pain in the arse trying find the actual link also on there site to download super without reading about it 3-4 times!!! lol

Things like Audio FTT/Chaos Mode/Recording options etc etc i have to setup everytime i load resolume up. Is there a way around that?

Cant you just use a virtual CD Device (daemon tools/Alchol 120%/Magic Disc) and mount the dvd from an image? That way theres only your computer that can slow things down?

Or have i mkssed the point here?

I used UC-33e before getting the codanova, Codanova wins hands down but it is also nearly 3 times the price!!!

UC-33e is a very good piece of kit though, Bit fiddly though
