Linux support

Post by ciacnorris »

Please make a Linux version.
Windows, especially Windows11, is such a pain.
Updates, drivers, bloatware, malware, that awful taskbar, zero customizability and tons of other problems.
Resolume Arena is the only piece of software that prevents me to convert the venue I work in to Linux and live a happy and joyful life.
Please please please!

Maybe I'm wrong but, as far as I can tell, Tiny10 is a closed source OS arbitrarily modified by a person that “doesn't consider himself an expert” and hosted on a private server. Definitely not something I would base a mission-critical enterprise machine on.

And still Linux desktop environments like Plasma are totally on another level when it comes to flexibility.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but yeah, with Win10 going end of life and Windows 11 latest updates getting more and more crammed full of useless crap like AI assistants, and a million background processes gobbling up resources...

A linux version would be more welcome than ever.

Nothing would give me more pleasure than running Arena on Linux and knowing that it's just going to keep working, not update and change half its configuration, etc, etc.

I agree. Should there be any porting to (any) Linux/BSD flavour, I'd like to be in the testing team ;)
