No its probably not possible to switch to different midi ranges,
maybe with some hacking, but I dont know.
Anyhow there enouht buttons(37) for activation of each effect box and layer.
I assaigned half of faders, knobs and scratchs pad to the active layer and frequense cut buttons to activate each layer so its easy to use the same controllers for different layers.
