hi there.

- we really appreciate resolume's feature for network streaming with vidnet, but we don't get satisfying results, even though we just bought new gigabit hardware. those seemed to help in terms of triggering ( as it's more accurate now), but the stream sent still stutters a lot. even without any effect or anything else there is a little stutter. what can we do? are there any improvements planned for vidnet? we'd really love to see this feature grow.....

-bpm clock is a great feature. combined with soundbite micro it quite changed the way we work live. sometimes we are losing mouse when adjusting the no. of beats for the opacity slider. we've also ran into the problem of having 127 bpm on one and 128 bpm on the other notebook, no chance to change it. and as some already suggested lfo's depending on bpm clock would be great.

-in/out points for opacity sliders; gets more important with the new bpm features. e.g. i don't want layer two to change opacity every second beat from 0 to 100 but from 0 to 50.....

-all the slider modes for effects opacity slider

-sometimes when switching layers up and down one layer interface gets grey and disappears.

-midi control for effect slot param speed and param play modes.

some more we don't remember- next time live without beer :D

oh, and a bpm related random play mode would be very useful as well!

CUSTOM RESOLUTION
A custom resolution hack would be pretty cool. I know you Resolume boys probably want to aviod making Resolume "crashable", but hacking hardware and software to make our performances unique is a definite advantage. Even if it's not released in the settings, is there a way it can already be done? You could always save the screen setup in an .ini file or something.

WINDOW CAPTURE
Being able to capture the output of another window would be awesome. Then I could run other visual effects and crazy stuff I've made in VisualBasic as if it was a plugin.

VB, C, PYTHON APIs to Grab an OpenGL App
I've got a ton of 3D OpenGL visualisations I've made. How about providing a plugin that can capture this as a source? Especially as a VidNet source! I call Python first!!! This way I wont need to lug an extra machine around to do my 3D.

PORTRAIT MODE
There is no portrait mode. Portrait is great for sleak, trendy clubs. The projectors can do it, why can't resolume? Perhaps this is another issue with the graphics card? Still, graphics cards can be hacked. Besides... maybe since VIDNET, we arnt projecting from our graphics cards any more, and have new things going that you dont even know about :-P
