recording to camcorder

is there any way to record my resolume output to my dv cam via firewire?

Yeah. Just use your video output on your computer hooked to your cam. Then, use rec control ou something like that to put your camera on standby. Then, start recording and play with resolume.

If you want to do it live, you'll need some splitter to the cable or a mixer. Put the basic concept is the same

my camcorder's got a dv in but my video output on my mbp is dvi. on programs like premiere and imovie i can record back on to my tape through a firewire cable - can i do this on resolume? or do i need to somehow get an adapter that can convert dvi to firewire?
