Screen setup problem, Again..

Post by gdlt »

Hey,
I'm at a gig at the moment, and changed the screen setup. and for some reason i always do that wrong.
Now i have the userinterface on the beamer and the fullscreen on my laptop. but the beamer isn't showing the complete interface so i can't get in to the screen setup (ctrl+alt+enter isn't working either).
This is i think the 20st time this happens to me, the only solution so far that i was using was reinstalling...
I have an other version of resolume on my laptop that i can use tonight.
Is there a better sollution?

I suggest for a new release of resolume:
- a easyer to understand screensetup
- a "press ok within 10 seconds to apply new settings" pop up or something lik that

Had the same problem. My experience is that I must use the correct connector on the graphics card. Use the primary DVI or VGA connector on your graphics card.
Then make sure you have a second screen available in Windows XP, which would be your tv-out. Enable this second screen. Then make sure your second screen is in the correct type, for me it's PAL.
Reboot your system, as it can be necessary that Windows XP boots up while there is actual a device listening on the tv-out.

Then start Resolume, and set up your second screen. Hopefully you have got it working now.

Otherwise you can delete the settings, look into your My Documents\Resolume. That allows you to try again in Resolume.

I do think a "press ok within 10 seconds to apply new settings" feature would be meaningfull.

Hey i know the problem,

because i encountered it a few times. You can press "ALT gr (right ALT) + ENTER". This way the screen settings will show up. Correct your settings and press "OK".

I hope to have helped you out ;)

Hi.
Friend of mine had same kind of problem some time ago. He said that it was about different resolutions in graphics card (second monitor)settings and Resolume (output resolution).
If the resolution isn`t same, something weird like that might happen.
