crossfader is not working

Hi Guys
Great job with the new version Edwin, it all looks wicked. I've had some minor problems so far but i managed to resolve them through the forum.
Just one question, I cant get the cross fader to work for me under windows. When assigning the layers as A and B, moving the crossfader right or left doesnt seem to do anything.
I thing it has to do with the fact that all three blend mode buttons in the layers appear as "Alpha" and the scroll down arrow does not contain any other options. Anyone know if this sound like a possible cause and if it is, how do you assign other blend modes?

Hi Apos,
You disabled the global effects and blend modes in the preferences window.
Got to preferences/video and uncheck the check box.
It's still a bug though, the crossfader should work in that mode too, but i'm happy to say that we fixed this allready.

Thanks for that, it worked
However, the video display loses lots of FPS (probably because of my grafix card) so I think i will wait for the fix of the disabled global effects crossfader.
