Crashes at startup: audio setup issue (PC, this Time)

Sorry to open a new thread with the same title of another one.
My problem is very similar to the one experienced by occubusjive previously.

I'm running resolume 3.0.1 on a dual core 2.00GHz (3 Gb of Ram).
I was trying to use the M-Audio Ozone both as an audio device and as a controller.
If the audio device is on Resolume won't start.
If is off and ran after resolume is working, resolume crashes (when selected as an audio device)
I also updated the drivers of the audio device.
