Will there be a CHAOS type autopilot function...

Post by ak1200 »

in Resolume Avenue 3? I want to buy it and install it in a nightclub but I cannot be hands on all the time. Is there another way of setting up the composition to run itself switching between layers and columns? Sorry for the noob question but I love the program and that would be the deciding factor to buy it. Thank you! :)

Resolume 2 has such a chaos button.
I think it also should be at res 3.

I´m very interested too ;-))

It would be nice, if You could include an autotoggle-function of the »Decks« and the »Columns« synchronized with the timeline, the bpm_sync and the global beat.

Hi again. I was hoping for a update on the CHAOS or autopilot type function for Rez 3? Any news will be appreciated.

Thank you.

meanwhile you can use a midi tool which generates notes from the audio input... seems to work fine so far!

I don't know much about midi. Can you give me step-by-step instructions on how to do that?
Thanks

here's the link of the thread i created...
i also found other midi tools which convert audio to midi in realtime!
you simply need
midi yoke (virtual midi device)
ts audio to midi or a similary tool which spit out midi notes from audio signal

then you link the notes on the clips in your resolume.... (use midi yoke channel 1 in resolume midi setup and as output in your midi tool)
just watch you don't get too much midi notes, otherwise resolume is nomore reacting till the midi tool is turned off and you wait till all midi notes habe been processed, or if it's really too much, resolume will crash ;)

it is just for windows..
but i think there also shoult be a solution for mac

if you have any questions, try to google first ;)
