Avenue 3.1.3 crops clips

Post by VJ_MOT »

Hello,
After switching to resolume 3.1.3 from 3.1.1 I've found that most of old composition clips are croped half (like they missing the right part of the clip).
I'm working in FullHD resolution and all clips are formated 1280x400 with DXV due to the screen real resolution.

Please help!

Could you please make a screenshot and send one of your clips to mail@resolume.com? We'd like to take a look.

Thanks for sending us the video VJ MOT. The video is not rendered with a pixel aspect ratio of 1:1 this is what is causing it to be displayed at a width of 711. If you open it in Quicktime you can see that this also displays the video at 711.

That Resolume 3.1.1 displays it at 1280 is actually wrong and we fixed this in version 3.1.3 so Resolume displays the video the same size at Quicktime does.

So you can either set the width to 1280 in Resolume but it's best to re-render the files and make you are rendering with a pixel aspect ratio of 1:1.

Thanks a lot for making this clear!
Setting layer and composition width to 1280 didn't help.
Think you right, it's time to re-render.
Good occasion to re-organize collection ;)
