Did you find a solution for this?
If it's just a straight-forward screen capture you're after, you can feed it in using a capture device... I often do screen captures using the following chain:
Source computer --> DV device --firewire--> Avenue
The 'DV device' needs to allow for an AV feed in and firewire out. I have a Sony Mini DV deck but a lot of old video cameras let you do this as well.
If you've got an output to spare you can just loop it back into the same machine, but if not it works just as well using another computer as a source.

yes sort of sorted it, was a bit of a nightmare setup, had to mirror the output and zoom with a scan convertor and mix through an mx50 tried to do it all through resolume and a mac, using a quartz composer screen grab but there were issues with the quality of the output, i'm sure this is something that with more time could be done but it was a last minute thing, so needed to have a good quality solution, i think the quartz composer grab solution is the best, maybe if done with tripleheadtogo so you could have a fullsized screen to do a grab from,
