A seemless loop button !!
Who blends the last frames with the first frames ...

In the same line as the Play-pause/bounce etc ...
And a suggestion for how he could look like : a zipper !

That would be my dream button... for ever and ever for sure

Seamless button wouldnt really work i dont think.

why dont you just make your clips seamless so you dont need a seamless button. are you using actually video?

there are some ways in which you can do this.

Shure, you can make your own seamless clips.... but out there on the loopmarket are many many "loops" which aren't seamless.

By the way.. the SEAMLESS LOOP funktion is a feature which is implemented in most of the highend mediaserver systems.

Hi!

yes i know how to make my video's seemless.
( cut the video in half - reverse the order - and add a dissolve ... and in animation just make sure the last frame looks like the first

) if you have other tips, always welcome
BUT that's not the reason.

sometimes you just want a seemless loop, and sometimes you just don't
So if it's an option , you can choose - that's the main reason !

Hey Kratata,

I do know what you mean and when this happens to me. I make 1 loop seamless and the other not

but it would be interesting if an effect like this exsited. I think it might be very difficult for Resolume or any software for that matter to process such a request. This of course is just a guess on my part.

Hey everyone

There already is a feature request for this (#1693 auto cross dissolve on loop function), but it's pretty low on the priority list, and I can't say when or if it will be implemented.

Res4 will give you the option to sequence two clips, and auto cross dissolve between them, so perhaps that will provide a workaround. I bet you're really anxious to know when Res4 will be released right?
