Hi,

I have a matrox 550 card and usually use the dvd max option so that I can get a preview screen. all my clips are now 640x480. Is it correct that I'll only be getting 320x240 outputting to the projector if I use DVD max? Do I have to undock the preview screen and put it across to the second monitor to get best quality?

cheers

yes you will only get 320x240 output if you use the preview screen and don't "undock" it.
I believe that's something that's being worked on for the next release (?)

Turn OVERLAY ON. U must undock the preview, resize it to 640 x 480 (with right mouse button), and place it back to preview are (dont dock it again), after your resized it with the mouse to fit the place. Your output is now 640 x 480 on overlay, with best quality. Its a bug.

Hi Resolume builders

Is it True what Mr piXelstar is saying, cause it would be great to have 640-480 output with dvdmax overlay!

If it works thanx piXelstar!

yes that's true,
but i ain't a bug...it's how it works ;-)
the overlay is the same resolution as the output window..so if you set the output to 640x480 the overlay will be the same, the overlay is just a copy of the preview but then fullscreen..

for version two we are gonna build in more possibilities two work with different resolutions and different screens (and overlay).

please note that if you dock the output window back into the main interface the resolution is 320x240 again! this trick only works if you leave the output window undocked ...
