Big Screensetup (4096*768)

hi,

i have a problem with my new set.
5 projectors, each has a resolution of 1024 * 768.
I want to use 4 pcs. ofthem as one big screen (4096 * 768), the #5 should be disabled.

but for the most time i use all 5 but in clonemode (1024 * 768) => each shows the same content.

Biggest resolution of Resolume is 4096, so my problem: i can´t disable the 5th. projector.
Resolume didn´t show it at the left menu, there is only projector #1 - #4, but on the right side i see projector #5 but with full resolution (4096 * 768) but it´s stretched and i can´t modidy, disable aso.

any ideas?

This resolution is a limitation of version 3, it will be solved in version 4 which we we release in beta on september 19th. Until then i'm afraid there is no fix.

and would you bespeak what´s the maximum resolution of V4? (Arena)

The new maximum composition size will be 8192x8192.

Hey Bart, what is the best way to make an 8192x8192 output with a Mac Pro? What happens if I use two Ati Radeon HD 5770 (with 2 minidisplay port and 1 dvi each one) with one or two Matrox Triple Head? I'm wondering if Arena recognize every individual output....

the outputs should work...
note that the matrox makes 1 big screen (not 2 or 3 extra screens) and the resolution is limited!
but it 8192x8192 won't perform, especially on your graphic card.

i suggest a 6, maybe 8 projector setup should run fine, but resolution per screen should'nt be more than 1024x768. Don't think that you get stable 25fps with more screens/higher resolutions

a short test with resolume 4 arena (over 4096 width), think it were 8 screens (8192x768), showed the output jerky.
in r3 it ran well (4096x1536)

Cool. I'm going to test next monday, when I recive my second Ati and the triple head. I will post results!
