Today my new Korg nanokontrol 2 arrived and I wanted to see how it improves my Resolume 4 Workflow. So I opened a composition and tried to edit the MIDI map. The first three knobs were assigned properly and everything worked fine. But now (almost) every time I want to assign a new FX or Clip to my hardware controller Resolume crashes when I want to leave (and save) the Midi Map.
I also found out that the problem does not come with the nanoKontrol because Resolume also crashes when no MIDI device is connected (while editing the map). The problem occurs with the application AND the composition MIDI map.
I tried reinstalling Resolume and also updated to 4.1.2. Still the same problem!
Here are two videos, one without a MIDI device connected, the other one with the KORG controller connected.
Does anyone hav a clue what to do? Anyone encountered the same problem?
Thank you!
EDIT: I noticed that Resolume will also crash when trying to set up the OSC map. What is this? I reinstalled Resolume like 5 times now (also used a Total deinstall application that searches the registry)... I also searched the log file for what's happening when it crashes.
The startup sequence works fine seemingly. Here's the logfile from the end of startup sequence to the point it stops (when I try to exit the Midi or OSC map):
Code: Select all
Startup sequence completed

The nVidia GPU seems to have trouble with some OpenGLCanvas stuff going on ... Deactivating it and using the internal GPU can't be the solution here because it won't have enough power to handle the HD videos I'm using ... I hope updating the nVidia driver will work.
