MIDI preferences presets

REQUEST: Adding the opportunity to save the MIDI preferences – input, output, clock – as a preset like in the »advanced output« dialog. Or save it with the composition.

QUESTION: If the controller/software sending MIDI, i.e. MAX, is not »connected« while loading the composition how could we deal with that? My idea is to make those inputs show up in the list of MIDI controllers but mark them as broken. I recently had a show with Ableton (three Djs simultaneously), MAX, Quartz Composer, OHM64 sending MIDI to Arena. Sometimes I just forget to start one of the apps or missed connecting my controller when starting the machine and start developing. This would probably helped me a lot during development to »debug« in the first place. I am thankful for workflow advices ;]
