Kineme3D Heightfield with movie input?

Using a qtz composition in Arena....
If I attach a movie as input to Kineme 3d Heightfield (and v002 Rutt Etra ) I get no render.
If I use a jpeg or a generated image e.g. leticular halo it runs fine.

My wild guess is this is something to do with colourspace as I quote Vade who changed his Blur plugin to "Fix color fidelity issues with Quartz Composer host applications rendering to output colorspaces other than GenericRGB/GenericRGBLinear"

Anything I can do to my movies to make them work? Or anything you can do to make these plugins work?
