Routing Problem

I have a problem with my routing of the video. I have 7 layers 1 of the layers bottom i want to route on a output slice. Now i want only to play the content from this particular layer. But when i fade it in,it shows in the main composition as well as on the layer.

is it possible to exclude it from the main composition and show it just on the output layer.

Slice 1 and Ceiling should only take content from the layer 1. Which i setup in the LED Wall Big -> Slice Input -> layer 1, put the output also shows in the main composition as well, so i am not able to fade only this layer in and out.

Setup is 3 Folsom Image Pro G3 with a ton of LED panels picture follows in a bit

Add another layer between 2 and 1. Make that layer use a solid color(Black). Now you can fade in layer 1 without it showing up in the composition.

1600x1200! Thats some low mm LED panel your throwing down!

i run 1920 x 1080 on the comp, but actual led pixel is 6mm...

I think i figured it out, on the blend mode i went to Mask 50 and now the content splits as it should.

So I've had acouple PM's asking to clarify what i meant. Re reading what I said could be misunderstood to be something about the advanced editor. Below is a screen shot of what i meant. You need an extra layer of black above your layer in the composition. Or you can't fade in your layers without it showing up in the comp. Soon as you see it, it becomes pretty obvious.

I see your blend mode is ALPHA may that was it why it wasnt working on my layer. Now i wish there would be something to group multiple layers in a composition and have that as the output instead of making a slice for each layer.

Maybe Resolume can add a Grouping of Layers as a output.
