Arena 4.1.7 Empty labelled banks not saved

Post by dwk983 »

Hi,

I've just been setting up a new project in Arena 4.1.7 by labelling all my banks ready to drop in content later. I saved and quit and all the empty labelled banks disappeared. If I put at least one video clip into each bank before saving and quitting they stay as expected.

Is this a known issue?

Thanks,

David K

This is a known issue.

It's not high on the priority list, since there's not a lot of users running into it, and the workaround is pretty easy and straightforward. If we had infinite hours in the day and infinite brains to think with and infinite hands to code with, we'd get round to it, but for now this is how it is.

That's some grumpy customer service right there... Good to know it's somewhere on the to do list though.

Whoops! I didn't mean for that to come across as grumpy!

I wanted to explain we think it is a serious issue, but also why we cannot dedicate time to it. Sorry if that came out wrong!

Right you are. Thanks for clarifying. I'll change my workflow for now.
