My last live set I had loads of unexpected frame rate drops during it, this caused the video to be momentarily sluggish, I could also see the BPM counter struggling to keep sync at the same time.
I havent changed anything since my last set, I had repaired preferences etc, as I usually do before a gig. The only thing I can assume, is that my 256gb SSD drive, which was installed back into my mbp in August, needs its first trim _ What do you guys think? open to solutions!

Using OSX? Using 10.8.5? Get rid of it and downgrade to an old timemachine backup with 10.8.4. I had a similar issue a week last Friday, fps dorpping to 9fps. 10.8.4 fixed it. That and clearing PRAM and SMC.
