I have been asked to look at the required computer specification for a multi-use venue. They have just had a refit and have had multiple screens and projectors installed. The screens behind the bars are in 2 arrays of 3x21:9 LG Ultrawide displays and there are 2 1024x768 projectors next that they wan't edge blending.
The content displayed on them is mainly going to be images on rotation, short videos and at a later date potentially live capture.
They are a multi use venue so ideally I want the system to be as versatile as possible but within budget. The specification I have put together so far is below:
Intel Core i7-5820K
Asus X99-A
Crucial Balistix Sport 16Gb DDR4 2400MT/s RAM (2x8Gb)
1x NVIDIA GTX770 2GB
1x NVIDIA GTX770 4GB
Crucial 256Gb M550 M.2 Solid State Drive
XFX XXX850 Watt Semi Modular PSU
LG Blu-Ray Combo Drive
19" 4U Lockable Rackmount Case
My plan is to output the 3 screens behind the bar on the GTX770 4Gb and the 2 Projectors, Preview Monitor and additional 1080p output on the GTX770 2Gb. I have read that Resolume only supports one GPU is this still the case? Would I be better off getting a more powerful card to use as the primary GPU and a cheap second to for the additional outputs or going Triple and Double head to go on one card.
I have read through the forums and haven't come across anyone trying to run resolume in this way or on the X99 chipset so any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys
