Previewing All Slices Full screen and Recording a Mock Set

Post by JCASTLD »

Hi all,

I want to record a mock setup and share with the management of an artist I work with. Simply looking to perform LIVE and upload a clip to youtube that includes 2 slices (upstage video wall and downstage video wall).

In my advanced output screen I can see my two walls/slices but when I try and output fullscreen to a computer monitor I'm only getting 1 slice/layer visible.

I don't have a physical LED wall available to illustrate this so was wondering if any of you had tips on how I can do this and create a full screen clip of what resolume is outputting.

Any program you recommend for capturing on screen action would be appreciated (would love to record only what is on display 2/ external monitor and not what I'm doing in resolume OR have the option to do both).

Thank you so incredibly much, my work over the next months depends on this and I'm looking to whip something togethere asap!

In your advanced output, create a syphon/spout output that's big enough to display your two slices side by side and use Open Broadcaster Software (https://obsproject.com/) to record the output.
