I typically run both DL-DVI over fiber optic extender (signal) and USB over Ethernet extender (access settings) to my X4s.
I did not know about these modules. I use usb extenders, but they can't be run that long distance. Clever. Thanks for the tip!

The Gefen DL-DVI over fiber optic extender is amazing and I can run a 4K signal over very long distances with absolutely no degradation or no-noticeable latency.

Another great new and more affordable technology for long distance is HDBaseT and you should be able to send 4K 300ft no problems in both computer and VESA resolution with no degradation or latency with 8 channels of audio. I use the GefenToolBox 4K Ultra HD ELR Extenders and I love them! These days I use HDBaseT in most of my installations.

Could be very useful since next project will use multichannel audio (up to 12) with three screens. I'll have a look at this.
