Arena 5.02 Crashes with input of serial

I've been using Resolume Avenue for about 6 months and decided it was time to upgrade to Arena. I have downloaded the software and purchased my serial, but when I attempt to register the serial, Resolume crashes. It also crashes on activation of any clips, or usually about 1-2 minutes after I open it. This is very peculiar as I never had any issues running Avenue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

16gb RAM
GTX Geforce 980m
