video lags with a 30m VGA cable

Post by Obed »

The output video lags with a 30m VGA cable connection (2 cables) to Resolume Arena.
However, a HDMI connection does not produce a lag in the output video.
Therefore, is the reason for this an issue with the VGA Cabling?

i have used VGA cables before there wasn't any lag issue like this

With 30M of cable, get a VGA amp. As a reminder an analog amp needs to be before the long cable whereas a digital amp needs to be after the long cable.

It's 2016, why are you still using VGA? Especially for such a long run.

With 30M of cable, get a VGA amp.

As a reminder an analog amp needs to be before the long cable whereas a digital amp needs to be after the long cable.
