Arena 5.1.1 Crashes on startup when NVIDEA is enabled

Post by Fraggle280 »

Hello,

I have been receiving low memory warnings lately and discovered my laptop was running Integrated Graphics under the prefered graphics processor option in the NVIDIA control panel. When I enable the High Performance NVIDEA Processor, Resolume Arena 5.1.1 crashes. When I select the debug option, I get ''an unhandled win32 exception occured in Arena.exe [11440]' and brings up a window in Visual Studio to choose possible debuggers - 'New instance of Microsoft Visual Studio 2015'. From there I can also manually choose some other debugging engines but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Any ideas where to go from here?

Have you tried giving 5.1.2 a spin? We fixed some issues with OpenGL on 5.1.2.

I actually just updated my graphics card drivers and it seems to have fixed everything. Thanks for the input.
