hey, i'm experimenting using Ableton Live to trigger my clips in Resolume, and it'd be nice to have 2 screens up at the same time, instead of having to switch manually back and forth between apps on the MacBook Pro's display. Most HDMI monitors are too big for carrying to gigs, and/or the rare portable HDMI models don't have full 1920 x 1080 resolution. i know that in the past USB monitors were usually not supported for heavy graphics work, but with a MacBook Pro with 2GB dedicated graphics (2015 or 2016), and faster USB 3.0, or new 3.1 type C speeds, is this perhaps now worth trying out? Amazon has a pretty liberal return policy, but if anybody has tried either of these monitors, i'd be curious to know your results, thanks!
