Transparency on black

Hi everyone,

I would know how can I put on one layer some text clip with black background and on other layer with different background.

Can I set on the first layer the black background to Trasparency?

Recap:
LayerUP -> Text Animation with black background
LayerDOWN -> Anythings

with the two layer totally ON how can i see the layer below.

If you have any basic knowledge of Photoshop, why not just remove the black BG from the text file and export it as a transparent PNG file?

Yes, you can set it transparent inside Arena/Avenue by using Lumakey or Inverted Lumakey Blend modes.

dropping the automask effect on the clip should remove the black
or setting the layer blend mode to ADD at 50% opacity would make a slightly different look.
