Speedcontrol changed in v6: not handy...

I noticed that in V6 the speed control has shifted its "normal" point to way down the scale.
To play a clip at nominal speed the slider has to sit on (midi val) 13 out of 127???
So to slow down a clip i have only 13 steps without having to use double controllers etc.
Is it possible to set the nominal speed in the center of the slider? That would render much more control then now.
Or was there a special reason to do it like this?

You can set up the midi shortcut's range to be effective in the Slider range you need it to be.

with this setting, you can have the whole 0-127 range controlling the speed from 0-1.
