Help? (Beginner here)

Post by TechDark »

Hi! I got a small job for my school to control the music and the lights for a school prom this winter.
Since i watched the whole entire Excision paradox concert i want to spice things up with Vjing with this program.
So basically our school basically request songs and i want to add a cool animation (for example just like excision's visuals) that syncs with the music
I have no idea how to get started and i really want to do this.

Excision’s Video dude dropping in here.

So Resolume is a great start.
Joris and crew had me layout some of our systems out here.

Beama and Excision hire me for the systems I help develope but really the true strength of our shows is content. Lots of talented animators.
Who all hate me for knit picking.

Good starting points are

-Resolume
-After effects
-C4D
-Touch designer(for all those cooky things you dream up)
