auto select first column on deck switching ?

Post by vj.emtv »

Hi all !

long time no post, which means everything runs smoothly for me with resolume currently.

just wondering if there's a way around a default behavior which annoys me a little, though :

when switching from one deck to another, resolume (6.1.0) automatically highlights in the new deck the same column I was playing in the previous deck.

I'd like to modify this behavior so that resolume highlights the 1st column in the new deck.

any idea on how to make this happen, anyone, please ?

thanks in advance.

The thing is though when you load a new deck it's still playing the clips in the other deck which is why it shows the same configuration.

One thing you could do that would simplify the process is set a shortcut for column 1 to triggered when you press 1.

sure, but I was looking at cutting down on shortcuts, and anyway, I changed my set to remain on the same deck finally (using Resolume both as a theater board and a vj mix tool this time).

I actually love working my way around with this software. discovering more and more of this incredible swiss army knife. no time right now to tell you all about it but definitely enjoying my time..
great work, guys !!

so thanks to the Resolume Team and also to the community !
been there for years and very few questions remain unanswered.. :)
