Clip speed envelope

Hi guys,

I was wondering if there was a way to control the playhead speed of a clip with an envelope curve.
I have videos at 60fps and I want to "retime" them. Can I do it? Are there other ways to do it?

ive been breaking my head about the same thing and i can't think of a good way to do this.
One trick i do use is the "Freeze" effect , and animate the opacity slider of the effect, so it can hold the first frame for a amount of time. Linking opacity to clip position is also interessting here.

one way would be to put the layer with the content in a group , put the speed slider of that group to timeline/bpm sync/... and put an enveloppe on there. It works but its kinda weird to have single layer groups just for this imo
