Default Video Clip Play Mode problem

I have the default video clip play mode set to bounce <-> in preferences (Avenue 6).
My set-up involves recording clips with a camera source and then triggering them. Sometimes they appear with bounce as the default, but other times they have loop as the default.
This really screws with my performance.
Please help!

Have you tried Avenue 7, do you see the same issue there?

I only have Arena 6 and I'm not wanting to pay for the upgrade to 7 right now. It's a weird bug alright. I might see if I can go to an earlier version of 6 to see if that works. I've actually been using Arena 5 for performances, which is a less than awesome work-around.

I've been using 6.13. I got the same error straight away in 6.12 too. However, so far haven't been able to replicate it in 6.11. So, fingers crossed that solves it.
I'm guessing 7 won't have the issue either when I get around to upgrading.

Looks like we have a ticket for this (#12132)

Doesn't seem to happen in 7 for me though.
