Hello. I'm wondering if it's possible to somehow achieve the following:
Say there's a 10minutes long videoclip. You want to play it so, that it plays for 5 seconds in 1x speed, then 50 seconds of the original clip at 10x speed, then the same again. So the result/output would be that the clip plays every other 5secs at normal rate and every other 5secs at 10x rate. How to achieve? Thru some osc magic?
Thanks and regards
Changing clip speed automatically / over time?
Re: Changing clip speed automatically / over time?
though envelope (and the speed dial) inside arena without external stuff needed
or did you try that allready and it didnt work, becouse of.... (tell us pls) ?

Re: Changing clip speed automatically / over time?
It seems there's no option to use timeline/envelope on the speed control in the transport section of a clips properties. Thus my question.
Re: Changing clip speed automatically / over time?
Oh, my bad
The composition speed can be adjusted with timeline/envelope even tho clip speed can't. But this is no help if you are rendering the clip (to make a new clip with speed adjustments) so the topic still remains..

Re: Changing clip speed automatically / over time?
Of course you could use the recording function but the result might not be that smooth. Tho it helps to have the source clip in dxv format to achieve smoother result.. Would be awesome to have "render composition" function

Re: Changing clip speed automatically / over time?
Indeed animating clip speed is not possible at this time. Moved to feature requests
What you could try would be duplicating the clip, then setting the ranges on the clip you'd like to play with different speeds, and use auto pilot to advance the clips: https://resolume.com/support/en/clips#auto-pilot
