I’m trying to create a horizontal gradient that appears to move along the horizontal axis, and repeats continuously as if there is no join.
For example, from left to right, a red to purple, then back to red again, that appears to move across the screen in a line.
I can sort of do the effect by adding a hue rotate effect, and animating the rotation, but the widths of the bands of gradients seem to change size as the colours “move along”.
Horizontal colour gradient that moves
Re: Horizontal colour gradient that moves
there are so many roads to try and this is just one

Re: Horizontal colour gradient that moves
This doesn’t seem to work, as it only changes the colour of my white element rather than “moving it along”.He2neg wrote: Wed Dec 23, 2020 10:44 When you create a black - white gradient and then use the colorize with a custom pallete to get waht you want...

You first need to get this gradient scroling...
Animate the palette or add a hue rotate afterwords are 2 more ways you can try....

Re: Horizontal colour gradient that moves
Use the pallet mode to create a looping color pallet you want then add the slide fx.
Edwin also added a new "size" param to the circular gradient so this is uber helpful for animating those types of gradients as well now. Happy Festivus!
