power cut and avenue is punishing me

Post by jeffhtg2 »

New installation going on

Resolume Avenue 7.3.1

Have an Nvidia Quadro on a new Dell
4 outputs going to a matrix to do a wide video slice

local mb hdmi is preview monitor / console

this setup was working brilliantly yesterday. Then this morning the power cable was unplugged. Since then the preview doesn't show up. I reinstalled Res and same thing. I reinstalled the 461.40 whql drivers (selecting the fresh install option).

Now I can't seem to get resolume to work on the outputs. I get a black output as soon as I try to talk to any of the outputs of the nvidia card.

update... by going to only nvidea outputs it works.. the problem seems to be the motherboard hdmi.. if i use it for console res crashes.

Whatever screen you UI is connected to will be the rendering GPU. Your UI window needs to be on the Nvidia GPU.

How did I have it working before then? I had all 4 outputs of the quadro pro working with the desktop on my motherboard hdmi. It worked all day flawlessly.

It was rendering off the wrong GPU then.
