DXV3, mac M1 and Premiere CC 2022

Post by pedreiro »

Hellow!

The DXV codec does not work on my Premiere and Encoder CC 2022. The programs do not recognize the codec for import or export. Tried it on osx system Big Sur and Monterey, and it doesn't work.

The DXV codec only appears in AfterEffects CC 2022.

I installed version 7.5 of Resolume Arena, but I also tried installing Aley 7.10, and it makes no difference.

I can't get the codec to be recognized by Premiere and Encoder CC 2022.

I currently have the Big Sur 11.6.5 system installed.

Could it be a problem with the system or incompatibility between the programs and their versions?
Does anyone know any solution?

You're launching the ARM version of the apps, those can't load the Intel build plugins.

You can launch the adobe apps in Intel mode in the Creative cloud app,

This doesn't seem to work. I really hope there comes a fix for this in the future. Because the only other way around is now export in prores and then export in alley via DXV :'(

Well, launching the Intel version worked for us.

We're working on a universal build which should be available in the near future, that will solve this.

Prores is supported in Resolume too, so if your CPU can handle it, you don't really need to convert to DXV.

Well, if Adobe folders don't exist, then Resolume won't install the plugins. But you said DXV export works in AE, so I'd guess the plugins are installed.

You can try closing all Adobe apps and re-install Resolume, maybe that helps.
