preview window output to beamer using radeon mobilty x600 256mb?

Post by ZooPH »

hiya after upgrading both my version of resolume (latest version) and laptop im having difficulty outputing the preview window to the beamer.

using a sony vaio VGN-A417M with ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X600 256MB HyperMemory™

if i try to use dual monitor setup, ie output only preview to beam so i can vj using the interface live, i get a blank preview screen and no output to beamer

do i need to tweak the display settings or video card settings to get this to work before opening resolume, i have a gig tomorrow so any help would be gratefully appreciated,

cheers,
zph

You got catalyst control installed? I found that display settings say device is enabled but its actually a monitornot the TV out, control panel lets you swap the devices.

your system is set to clone (so copy of your main display on your tv), windows does not see it as two independent devices, neither does resolume. Please make sure that you extend your desktop to the second monitor (tv) in that way you can determine what to display on each device.

Hello Edwin!

I have the same problem again.
I have 2 pics for you! 1 is an output, but the other isn't an output (TV). On the windows pics you can see, that there are 2 outputs, because the clone button isnt enabled.
