Multiple effect layers add intensity

Post by Ewusername »

Hello!

I have multiple effect layers on top of a couple content layers. Each effect layer seems to add intensity to the composition, even when all effects on the clip are blocked. If I have all five effect clips triggered, and the layers on, it kills the dimmer curve of the bottom content layers - they "snap" on around 10%, then stay the same for the rest of the fader move. I have the blend mode of the effect layers set to alpha.

I had this same problem a while back, and the fix was to change the content clip from "premultiplied" to "straight." This is no longer working.

Thanks!

Can you share the composition and the video file you see this with?

Not able to add the video clips here, I've sent an email with all files. Cheers,

The composition you sent has no effects, and layers are on ADD. The clips are in a single layer, so how should we check what you described with this?
