Hello,
I am setting up a bunch of visuals for and upcoming show through Resolume and am trying to automate everything since I don't have my own VJ to control all the lighting and visuals for me. It looks like ProLink is the main protocol that supports linking visual programs with the tracks themselves and is only available with CDJs and bigger all-in-ones.
I only have a DDJ-1000 which doesn't support ProLink but I know you can hook up CDJs to them. Is it possible to control visuals through ProLink with just one CDJ connected to my DDJ-1000's (almost like it's the main interface/hub for controlling multiple tracks) or is ProLink controlled individually from each CDJ and requires at least two for each track if you're mixing multiple tracks with their own visuals together?
Thanks!

You can use one CDJ to set up the sync in Resolume.
You can also assign the video files manually to tracks, the easiest would be to rename the video files to something like "Artist - TrackTitle.wav.mov".
Then when you load the files into Resolume, you only need to set the tracks to Pioneer sync and they'd have the correct Track Titles/File set up already.
I'd put my clips into a single layer and have the composition clip target set to Free layer.

Re: Pioneer DJ ProLink with just one CDJ for multiple tracks
Thank you for the reply.
Will this work with XDJ-1000mk2’s connected to ShowKontrol at all or only with the players listed on the ‘control resolume with pioneer DJ players’ article? (CDJ 3000, 2000NXS2, etc)
XDJ-1000mk2’s are supported by showkontrol but it doesn’t look like they are officially by resolume. Does this mean that they would still work with resolume but they’re just unsupported or that it doesn’t work at all?
Thank you

Showkontrol is a third party app.
The players listed on the support page are supported currently.
Do the players show up in the Pioneer bridge app?

Re: Pioneer DJ ProLink with just one CDJ for multiple tracks
This is the article I’m referring too with the supported model by resolume:
https://resolume.com/support/en/sync-to ... dj-players
It has the list of supported players at the bottom.
And XDJ-1000mk2’s don’t show up on pioneers pro DJ link bridge list on supported devices but it is on showkontrols list of supported devices.
I’m having a really hard time finding correct information and updated device compatibility lists. I want to make sure they work before I spend $2,000+

Yes, that's the up to date supported device list from our sideswayenmusic wrote: Mon Oct 24, 2022 15:03 This is the article I’m referring too with the supported model by resolume:

I wouldn't expect XDJ-1000mk2 to work with Bridge app or Resolume.

FYI... You can do this with CDJ-2000nxs2. if that's all you are using it for you may get a great deal out there..
